Asian Shrimp Fry



Stuff you need:
Shrimp: 1/2 pound (raw but cleaned)
Sauce Base: (1 tablespoon each)
- Soy sauce
- Vinegar
- Chili sauce
- Tomato Ketchup
- Thai sweet and chili sauce (2 tablespoon)
- Any other Asian sauce base you have ( I had some oyster sauce)
Turmeric: 1/2 teaspoon
Red chili powder: Heat it as you like it
Ginger: Small piece
Salt
Oil

Prep:
Clean shrimp and marinate with Turmeric, red chili and a little salt for about 30 minutes
Mix the sauce base in a bowl or cup
Julienne the ginger

Cook:
Heat oil on medium high
Add ginger pieces till light brown
Add shrimp and fry till color changes slightly
Add sauce mix
Add salt
Coat the shrimp with the sauce and cook till excess liquid evaporates

Serving Ideas:
With chinese fried rice
With toast

Extra Special:
Julienne vegetables like carrot, bell pepper, onion and do a quick stir fry before adding shrimp to make this an entree'

TIP: Do not overcook shrimp as it will dry out and become stringy.
